Mobile Welding in Lyman & York County

Welding That Comes to the Job Site

Mobile and field welding is a regular part of the work at McMahons Welding Services. Plenty of repairs happen out in the open: on a gravel pad, beside a trench, or in the middle of a working site where shutting down to load and haul a machine would cost more than the fix itself. Our mobile welding rig carries what we need to set up, weld, and get you back to work.

We're based in Lyman, Maine and handle field calls around Lyman, Sanford, Springvale and southern York County. If you have a cracked part, a broken bracket, or a pipe that needs to be joined in place, call and describe the job. We'll tell you straight whether it makes sense to come out or bring it into the shop.

Crusher and Job Site Repairs

One of the jobs in our gallery shows the McMahons mobile welding rig parked on location at a crusher job site. Crushing operations are rough on steel, and when something breaks the whole operation feels it. Fixing it on site means the equipment stays where it belongs and downtime stays short.

The same goes for heavy equipment that's working in the field. Worn attachments, cracked mounts and broken brackets can often be repaired right where they sit, with welds built to hold up under real load.

Well Pipe and Field Pipe Welding

We also do on-site pipe work. Our project photos include a well pipe welding repair done on location in Maine, plus field pipe welding and pipe grinding out in the open. Pipe work in the field takes careful prep, clean fit-up and steady welding in conditions that aren't always comfortable, and that's the kind of work we're set up for.

Whether it's a single repair or a run of field welds, the goal is the same: durable, high-strength welds done once, so you're not calling about the same problem next month.
